“This looks to be our biggest one yet.” Pastor Don commented to one of the church members as the day progressed. “You guys make us all feel so welcome” Kemi, a teenager whose family just settled in the area from New York told Pastor Falu.

Over 40+ people made a commitment to Christ by the time the day was over.  Jennifer, one of those in attendance speaking for herself and her 2 kids said tearfully, “Today we accepted Christ into our lives and heart and he took all of our sins away and we are starting new in Christ.”

Many members of New Zion came together as a team to reach out with open arms to embrace a hurting community.  One of the attendees said “Please let us know when you are having anything like this again because we would love to come.”

The event had over 10 corporate sponsors from amongst the businesses on the west side of Houston.
