Hi, my name is Diane Jones. I am the 3rd base coach. Along with being a pastor and loving people, the ministry of music and prayer are two of the passions in my life. I am actively involved as a keyboard/vocalist on our praise team and also serve as an intercessor. I would love to meet you and assist you in discovering YOUR ministry at NZCC!

1. The Purpose of Base 301

To help you discover your God-given gifts and abilities in serving God and
others in the church family. “God has given….pastors and teachers to prepare
God’s people for works of ministry, so the body of Christ may be built up. ”Eph. 4:11-12

2. The Principle under girding this class

MY MINISTRY IS DETERMINED BY MY MAKEUP

What God has made you to BE determines what He intends for you to DO. You will understand the purpose you were created for when you understand the kind of person you are. This is the secret of knowing God’s will for your life. God has S.H.A.P.E.D. each one of us according to our spiritual gifts, heart desire, abilities, personality and experiences.

3. Commitments Made at 3rd Base

I. Discover your unique shape for ministry and serve in the area that best expresses what God made you to be.
II. Prepare for ministry be participating in S.A.L.T. and C.L.A.S.S.
III. Demonstrate a servant’s heart by serving in secondary ministries as the Body needs you.
IV. Cooperate with other ministries and place the greater good of the whole Body over the needs of my ministry.

Ministries Opportunities at New Zion Christian Church

Outreach Ministries- Link up with other people like you who have a burden for the unsaved.

Worship and the Arts Ministry- This ministry consists of instrumentalists, vocalists, drama, video and dance.

Children's Ministry- We are always looking for people with a heart for children.

Greeters Ministry- Let the Jesus in you seek to reach out and love people as they come into the church.

Helps Ministry- A very vital ministry of people who just want to help where needed.

Prayer Ministry- This ministry provides you opportunity to serve through being an intercessor for those in need.
