	PAULETTE ZANG- Worship Base Coach Greetings! My name is Paulette Zang and I have been involved with the New Zion Music Department since its inception in 1987. Our worshippers believe church should be a happy and joyous occasion and that is the type of atmosphere we set with our music. With a contemporary flair we create a lively sound in praise and a peaceful time of worship as we give honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

	BAND- Danny Jones Our current line up consists of drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, and 1–2 keyboards. Occasionally we add a percussionist and additional horns. If you are interested in becoming part of the band, please contact me for a meeting and audition time. The group rehearses usually once a week for approximately 2 hours. Currently the full praise team is playing Sunday morning and any special services that may take place. A smaller version of the team plays for the Wednesday night service. We are looking for additional bass, lead, and acoustic guitar players and more horns. However, no matter what instrument you play, if you have been given the gift of music, have a heart for God and are willing to accept the responsibility and joy of being part of a dedicated team, then I’d love to hear from you.

	CHOIR- Janell MacDonald The New Zion Christian Church Choir is comprised of vocally untrained church members. The members of this ministry come from very diverse backgrounds but hold one thing in common – a heartfelt desire to minister through song. We appreciate all styles of music and hope to incorporate these into our worship services. Although newly formed, we expect the Lord to do remarkable things with this ministry.

	DANCE- Sukky Fagbohun The Dance Team exists to honor and glorify God the Father, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit, our Teacher. As a ministry it is our desire to uplift Jesus as we use dance as a tool of evangelism and also a vehicle of blessing to our church. It is our desire to create a hunger and thirst for God and set the captives free through our ministry. As we lift the name of Jesus we expect that captives will be set free and lives will be impacted for the kingdom of God. We purpose in our hearts to be Godly representatives of New Zion Christian Church and our Lord Jesus Christ through humility and respect. We commit ourselves to prayer corporately and individually. We commit ourselves to excellence—doing all things as unto God and to the best of our ability with pure motives and open hands in obedience and humility with teachable hearts. We do not claim experience in this area but we trust, rely and depend on the Holy Spirit and His anointing. Our Goal is to spread the message of salvation through a spirit-led ministry of artistic communication and outreach, and to glorify God through dance and interpretive movement. Scriptural Foundation: Ps. 149:3- Let them praise His name in the dance Ps. 150:4- Praise Him with the timbrel and dance 2 Sam 6:14- And David danced before the Lord with all his might Who can participate: Age 9 years- Adult Qualifications: You must be saved, be a member of NZCC, and attend worship services and Sunday School on a regular basis. Practice Schedule: Wednesday Evening- 6:00–7:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon- 1:00–3:00 p.m.
	DRAMA-Ayesha Ervin The Drama Team uses the God given talents of each of its members allowing each person to be creative and express their gifts. We write most of our own scripts as well as routines. We try to make rehearsals convenient to everyone’s work schedules. Get in touch with your creativity, see what God can do, and join the Drama Team!
